Where Curiosity Meets Energy Innovation

Research Hub: A Discord community built by a curious 14-year-old to connect with researchers developing breakthrough technologies that could solve our climate crisis.

I Am driven to understand today's research. The future can't wait.

At the Climate Action Museum, I found myself frozen in front of a timeline of energy innovations. While others walked past, I couldn't move. Each display showed solutions we desperately need - but when would they be ready? What's happening in labs right now that could change everything?

I started digging into research papers about batteries, solar tech, and carbon capture. The breakthroughs were incredible - but the technical language might as well have been written in another language. Instead of giving up, I decided to go straight to the source: the researchers themselves.

That's why I built Research Hub - to create a space where I could learn directly from the scientists and engineers developing tomorrow's solutions. Because my generation can't afford to wait 20 years to understand the innovations happening today.

I learn best through conversations with passionate experts.

Research Hub is more than a research network - it's a human library where a curious student learns directly from innovators shaping our future. I learn through conversations with passionate experts because nothing accelerates understanding like asking questions to someone excited about their work.

Each conversation helps bridge the gap between complex lab breakthroughs and real-world impact. By sharing your expertise with a student eager to understand, you're not just explaining your work - you're helping shape how the next generation thinks about today's innovations.

Join a community where your expertise helps shape how the next generation understands and builds upon today's research.

I'm Carter Kelly, a student at Whitney Young Magnet High School in Chicago. I'd welcome the opportunity to learn about your work and the breakthroughs you're developing.
